Each year since 1998, five ISSFA Members are chosen by their peers to standout as the very best. Here are the 2007 Award recipients announced at the General Session held at the 2007 Surface Fabrication & Design Expo.

The Associate of the Year Award
is for an individual, of an associate member company, that in the past year has best exemplified the role of servicing the needs of fabricator member companies, and who has best supported ISSFA in all activities. |
2007 Winner - North Star Surfaces
For outstanding support of ISSFA fabricators with innovation in product, a smashingly successful Regional Meeting and the fact that Chuck is always there ready to serve the ISSFA fabricator. Congratulations.
2007 Winner - Moraware
For specializing in the fabricator’s success; for having special processes and business models for fabricators to follow; and for having such a unique product that meets the needs and interest of the ISSFA fabricator.

The Innovator Award
For the FABRICATOR member firm or individual who goes outside the box and creates a product or system that enhances the life of the solid surface fabricator. |

In recognition of their commercial products and design recognition. Also for their OEM type products, research and for contributing “knowledge” of solid surface to fabricators.

The Envision Award
For the manufacturer member who excels in creating something imaginative and special for the solid surface industry. |

as it was put so simply by the judges: “3 cm is changing the fabricators world."

| The Fabricator of the Year - For an individual, of a fabricator member company, that in the past year has best exemplified the ISSFA ideals of quality, innovation, character, exemplary service to ISSFA and/or the solid surface industry, with overall excellence. |
2007 Winner - Jon Olson, Sterling Surfaces
John really cares about how ISSFA reacts and serves the ISSFA membership. In addition to being a full-time “master” fabricator, Jon serves his fellow members as a columnist for Surface Fabrication Magazine, a member of the ISSFA computer committee, and it’s chairman in 2006 and 2007. But most of all Jon is an advocate for fabricators.

2007 Winner - Joanna Duggan
Joanna Duggan is the solid surface industry! Her bio includes: solid surface shop owner; co-founder of ISSFA, a board of director member; founder, editor and publisher of Solid Surface Magazine, which is now Surface Fabrication Magazine, and out of them came the EXPO! Joanna Duggan certainly is the Solid Surface Industry. |
