SOLID SURFACING MATERIAL-COUNTERTOPS (SSM)
Solid surface material to be: ___________________by________________or equivalent as defined by The International Solid Surface Fabricators Association Specification, ISSFA-2-01. Solid surface material (SSM) shall consist of reacted monomers and resins, mineral fillers and pigments manufactured in sheets of specific thicknesses. SSM shall be solid, non-porous, homogeneous, hygienic, renewable, and, when applicable, may feature inconspicuous hygienic seams. SSM shall be free from conspicuous internal strengthening fibers. SSM is typically fabricated using ½” (13 mm) nominal thickness sheets that may be supported by wood or steel members. SSM must meet or exceed performance standards set forth in ISSFA -2-01.

SOLID SURFACING MATERIAL-BOWLS (SSB)
Solid Surfacing Bowls (SSB) shall consist of reacted monomers and resins, mineral
fillers and pigments. SSB shall be solid non-porous, homogeneous, hygienic, renewable, and, when applicable can be mounted to solid surface sheets featuring inconspicuous hygienic seams. SSB shall be free from conspicuous internal strengthening fibers. SSB must meet or exceed performance standards set forth in ANSI Z-124-1997 and ISSFA-2-01.

SOLID SURFACING MATERIAL-FABRICATION
Solid Surfacing Material to be fabricated complying with the product manufacturer’s
most recent appropriate techniques for fabrication, installation and maintenance.

WARRANTY
The SSM fabricator shall provide a manufacturer-backed minimum 12-month warranty against defects in material, fabrication or installation.
