This program is the fast track to becoming a “CERTIFIED QUARTZ INSTALLER.” It is a hands-on, one-day, intense workshop that takes the student through the steps of templating, sheet and seam layout, outsourcing the fabrication and on site installation – which are required for a manufacturer’s “Certified Quartz Installer” accreditation.

• Cantilever & other support requirements
• Seam placement do’s and don’ts
• Template materials & processes
• All the steps during and after installation

Quartz Training Program Attendees Will Need To Bring Tooling.

You must bring your own tooling to this workshop. Extra tools wil not be available for your use. Students are required to bring and work with quartz specific polishing, drilling and installation hand tools at the workshop. The list is below. If you are new to quartz installation or do not have the required tools, you can purchase the “Quartz Installation Tools Starter Kit,” from the official Quartz Tooling Benefactor listed below. The kit will be delivered to you at your class.

•  Variable speed grinder
•  Segmented diamond blade (fast cutting, releases fines and allows for cooling)
•  Diamond core bits 1 3/8”
•  Flexible backer pad
•  Rigid backer pad
•  Diamond/resin polishing pad set (50, 100, 200, 500, 800, 1000, 2000, 3000 grits)
