Economic Relief Initiative Passed Unanimously at Latest Board of Directors Meeting

At the 2007 Regional Meeting in Houston, Robert Oxley, ISSFA’s  Executive Director announced, “The ISSFA Board of Directors, in a brilliant act of benevolence, has voted to pay 50% of each member’s registration fees for the association’s educational programs in order to help members succeed in business during these declining economic times. The Economic Relief Initiative is not a discount or marketing scheme.” President Keith Layton concurred, stating, “We will take this share of the money out of ISSFA’s long-term reserves. This directive has us going into the bucket, as we are cutting deeply into the hard costs of production and removing any chance for profit from these programs… but it’s the member’s money and we need to spend it on their success.”

Effective immediately, ISSFA members in good standing can take 50% off when registering for the association’s seminars and self-study programs, which include the Premium Surface Sales System Seminar, the 2-day Advanced Business Management Boot Camp, the Quartz Templating & Installation Program, and the association’s three self-study DVD based programs. Those members already registered for the September 26th Premium Surface Sales Seminar and the September 27th & 28th Business Management Boot Camp in Chicago shall receive a 50% refund on their tuition costs. The Economic Relief Initiative shall remain in effect through June of 2008. To take advantage of the 50% reduction in tuition, all the ISSFA member need do when filling out the registration form is check the “I am an ISSFA Member in good standing” box and cut the published registration fee in half.
